What are you lookin' at?

New! I am looking to get a list of breeders of hunting setters togeather. If interested, or know someone who is interested, Email me.

The english setter is a great dog to have as a pet and a hunter at the same time. They have a great nose for game, and are great to have around the house.

At the current time we have 2 setters, Tinner's Southern Belle (Belle), and Susquehanna Rover (Hanna). We also have had one dog go to The Great State Game Lands In The Sky, Minimim Effort (Minnie).

We have both Lavarac and LLewellin (Email me if I spelled these wrong). Belle is from the great Old Hemlock line, with Ryman mixed in. Hanna is from the Diablo line, her dad is Ch. Stillmeadows Jim, also sire of many champion dogs. Hanna hasen't been in any trials yet, but hopefully she will be entered in a few.

Hanna is a very persistent dog. Over Thanksgiving we were hunting grouse about a half an hour from my house. One of the guys we were hunting with shot one butonly wounded it. I saw it run into a brush pile, there were tracks going in, but none coming out. we brought Hanna's brother over and he had a few sinffs around, but decided there was no bird there, because he couldn't smell it enough. Then Hanna got on the scene, she sniffed around where the bird had run in, but then moved over to a hole in the snow a foot or so away. She pointed immediatly.
