There is an ebony half moon inlay at the neck block button on the back table
Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table with ebony inserts located at the neck block
Original scroll of plain grained poplar with a moderately flamed maple neck graft
The tuners are individual brass gears mounted on brass plates - two to a plate
Varnish is transparent, deep brownish amber
