Air2Web's Always Interactive technology shields you from the many challenges of going wireless and lets you quickly and easily make the complex leap into the wireless world.
In extending a brand to the widest addressable market one must consider some of the following challenges associated with going wireless. To effectively reach all mobile users, you must:
The Always Interactive platform enables a company to:
Carrier/Network Fragmentation
In the United States alone there are over 450 wireless carriers and more than 6,000 operating companies, with others being introduced every month. Each carrier and operating company has a unique way of communicating with devices on their network. In addition, there are multiple standards for wireless networks. Sprint uses CDMA 1900 Mhz while Verizon uses CDMA 800 Mhz; TDMA is the network standard for AT&T Wireless, US Cellular, BellSouth, and SBC. GSM, popular in Europe, is embraced by Powertel and VoiceStream. IDEN is used by Nextel, Latin America is predominately TDMA-standardized, Japan is exploding with the i-mode standard, and the Pacific Rim, like the US, uses a combination of GSM, CDMA and TDMA. Mobitex is used by BellSouth Wireless Data, Palm VII devices and Blackberry Service; Omni Sky uses CDPD network ... and so on.
Air2Web communicates over all carrier and network configurations, and their technology maps all carrier networks to all end user device addresses. Starting with the end user's phone number, Air2Web technology interactively determines the optimal means of communicating with that device across the specific carrier and network. With Air2Web, customers—regardless of carrier, network, and device—are able to easily enroll in a wireless application.
