3/10/11 Worldcomp submission deadline Submission deadline for papers to Worldcomp 2011. Deadline is Mar. 10, 2011 but is usually extended. Conference is July 18-21, 2011 at the Monte Carlo in Las Vegas.

3/18/11 VERITAS grant proposal deadline Submission deadline for VERITAS faculty research program grant. Propose development of web-based analysis software that measures the interactions and of religion on social, political and economic behavior. This software is based on the news mood concept, where massive content is harvest from the web using focused search results, then analyzed, stored based on date and time, and used for comparison over time with additional instances of analysis.
4/22/11 Submission deadline for UIST 2011 Submission deadline for UIST 2011, Oct. 16-19, 2011, Santa Barbara, CA. Check online soon for updated info. There is no conference website as of Jan 16. Coordinate research with Casey Burkhardt.
