Who Are We?

Villanovans For Life (VFL) is a student group working within the Center For Peace and Justice Education. We are concerned with the protection of the most fundamental right:

THE RIGHT TO LIFE

Our goal is to keep the student body informed about pro-life issues and to offer our members the opportunity to be active in the pro-life movement. As students, we feel that we have a great influence on the future. If we do not act now to preserve life and the dignity of others, who will?

What Are The Issues?

Villanovans For Life focuses primarily on the abortion issue, but we are also interested in many other life issues as well, such as euthanasia, the death penalty, infanticide and poverty. Our members come from a variety of religious and political backgrounds. Our group respects and appreciates the variety of approaches to life that our members contribute.

What Do We Do?

We are involved in many pro-life activities throughout the year. In the past years we have organized and participated in the following events:

Respect For Human Life Week - Rose sale and Grotto Vigil
Bingo For the homeless.
Hosted many pro-life speakers.
Sing Christmas Carols at a nursing home.
Christmas party for underprivileged children.
Sponsor a trip to Washington D.C. for the American Collegians For Life Conference
March For Life in Washington D.C.
Respect for Human Life Award Dinner
Nurturing Network at Villanova

How Can I Get Involved?

Villanovans For Life meets every Tuesday at 4:30 pm in the Center for Peace and Justice Education (basement of Sullivan Hall). We look forward to seeing you and how far we can go with your ideas! We are the future and we can make a difference!
