My research on this topic will be halting, and I might be continuing if I get accepted into the undergraduate research program in the spring.
Here is my research proposal! Here!.
My Updated Literary Review can be found here.
My Literary Review can be found here. It is a little last minute, so I haven't had time to transfer it into HTML (I don't like using Word's save as HTML file function). But I will put up the HTML version soon.
My slides for the presentation I am giving today can be found here. It is just a presentation of everything on tis website, but with more insight and in depth analysis of the problem.
I added the annotated bibliography on my research page, replacing the primary references section. If you would like to see the old research site with the primary references section, it can be found here. Please exc use the brevity of some of the summaries in my annotated bibliography, it was hard to give a description of the selected articles, when they themselves were brief as well.
Anyway, I feel like I have shed new light on my research project. It seems in my initial research I have found two different possible implementations of a secure and public wireless network. One is a suggested protocol called PANS which is being developed by Microsoft, and the other is the use of Linux wireless portal. It is har d to know whether or not either of these will prove to fulfill what I want to find, but they seem like good leads, and I would like to try to implement a Linux wireless portal on my own router so that I can see in person how it works.
I revised my research page and split up my references into two different categories, primary references and secondary references.
A revised summary of the Guard Placement For Wireless Localization article can be found here.
I have chosen my research topic for this class, and anything regarding that can be found on the research link at the top of the page. It seems that my professors for this class would prefer that I present updates on my research topic in an organized, table-based layout, so that the information is well organized. However, I prefer this blog-like layout, despite the fact that it is informal, I believe it provides a lot more insight into what I am doing for my research than something like this. And I also did not want to put that on my page, because it causes it not to validate.
Our first assignment was to review the article, Guard Placement For Wireless Localization. My review can be found here.
I just whipped this site up today for my CSC 3990 class. This site will hold all my updates for my Research in my CSC 3990 class. For anyone else needing help on making their website, www.w3schools.com has great tutorials in HTML and CSS.
