Let A = [aij] be an m ? n matrix. The transpose of A, denoted by
At, is the n ? m matrix [bij] such that bij =aji.
In other words, the transpose of A is obtained by interchanging the
rows and columns of A.

A square matrix A is said to be symmetric iff A = At.
I.e. if aij=aji.
