Homework
Table of Contents
hw #1:
Try your UNIX account on the department Sun machines by this
date. Although the machines are linked, and it usually doesn't matter
which one you're on, this time you need to make it to monet,
since that's the one where I'll be checking the system log.
If you have any problems logging into that account, let me know about them,
together with your student ID (the one you use for Novasis), but not at
the last minute. Let me know by noon on Jan 22.
hw #2:
C Pretest. This is for a (small) grade, but you may consult with any classmates
and any resources you
wish. You need to do the writing and emailing yourself
If you're submitting
it electronically, don't do it via the website (like labs); just
email it to Akhil, with cc to me.
hw #3:
Look over the four Perl programs (p1, p2, p3 and p4) here.
For each program,
(1) Predict the output;
(2) Run the program;
(3) Understand any deviation the actual output may have had from your
prediction.
Hand in your results of (2) at the beginning of class (or email
to Akhil and me by then).
