July 24, 2001 I just found a very nice summary of Common Lisp on the web. It starts out: "Why should you learn LISP? The short answer is you shouldn't, you are being made to learn it in your Computer Science course..."

LISP programs turned in next week will lose only 5 late points instead of the usual 10. Extra credit work will be counted.

Corrections to Java Adventure game:

  • Add this.name = name; at the end of the constructor for Neandertal.
  • Key.use(Player player, Room room), change "outside" to "outdoors".
  • In World.makeWorld(), change Thing key = new Thing("key"); to Key key = new Key("key");
