This week we downloaded Cinderella to our machines. We completed the first tutorial which involved an introduction to using the application. We learned how to plot and move points, add lines between points, and create points of intersection. On a design-level, we were introduced to editing the color, size, and shapes of objects. Finally, we put together all of the information we learned to prove Pappus’s Theorem.

Pappus’s Theorem of geometry states that for a set of points A, B, and C on the same line and another set of points a, b, c on the same line, then the intersection points x, y, z of the pairs Ab and aB, Ac and aC, and Bc and bC are also collinear.
