By Car: Villanova University is located on route 30, Lancaster Avenue, just east of I-476. If you drive to the meeting, enter Villanova by the main gate on Ithan Avenue, just north of Lancaster Avenue (route 30), opposite the Pavilion. Tell the guard you are attending the PACSE Symposium in Mendel. Ask for directions either to the Mendel Lot, where there is limited parking around the greenhouse, or to the St. Augustine lot. From the Mendel Lot, enter the building by the right door under the arch connecting wings of the building, go up one flight of stairs. Room 115 is near this stairwell. From the St. Augustine Lot walk past the St. Augustine Center for the Liberal Arts to the main entrance of the Mendel Science Center. Inside Mendel go up one flight and walk about half way down the corridor, to room 115.
Public transportation: Take SEPTA's R5 train (http://www.septa.org/) to the Villanova station. If outbound from center city go down through the tunnel to the inbound side. From the inbound platform a few steps lead to the Mendel parking lot. Walk straight ahead to the entrance on the right under the arch connecting wings of the building, go up one flight of stairs to room 115.
