CSC 1020: Computing and the Web

 

     This image is a snapshot of a synthetic actor. Today, synthetic actors are being ‘hired’ by the real world film industry to ‘perform’ in movies like Titanic and Gladiator. Part of this course will explore the technology of synthetic actors using a tool called Alice. This course will also introduce the students to the inner structure of the Web world – HTML will be stripped bare.
